Attire
November weather in San Antonio usually is mild, though evenings may be cool. A light coat is recommended for evenings. Normal temperatures are 22 degrees centigrade during the day and 10 degrees centigrade in the evening. Rain is not likely to occur during our visit.
Meeting Sessions, Social Activities
- Military Delegates: Appropriate seasonal uniform (winter uniform recommended).
- Civilian Delegates: Informal (lounge suit).
Association Annual Dinner
- Military Delegates: Dinner/mess dress uniform.
- Civilian Delegates: Dinner jacket (black tie).
(Informal attire is acceptable if formal attire is not available.)

1200-1800 Delegates register at the International Delegates Reception Desk in the East Registration Area at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
1800-1930 AMSUS Welcome Reception honoring International Delegates and their spouses. The reception will be held in Salon H/K at the Marriott Rivercenter Hotel.

0700 International Delegates assemble at the International Delegates Reception area, East Registration Area, Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, in preparation for the Opening Ceremony.
0800-1200 Opening Ceremony, International Delegate Convocation and Plenary Session. The Federal Medical Chiefs will address attendance. International Delegates and their spouses are urged to attend.

1200-1330 International Delegates Luncheon, located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Room 004 (spouses are not included). An invitation is not required for this luncheon.
1430-1600 Important: Pick up tickets and seating assignments for the AMSUS Annual Dinner at the International Delegates Reception Desk.
1930-2030 Reception hosted by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, St. Anthony Hotel, Starlight Terrance. An invitation will be included in your registration packet.
2030-2200 Dinner hosted by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, St. Anthony Hotel, Anachaco Ballroom. An invitation will be included in your registration packet.
