Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS) - AMSUS is an event attended by over 5,000 professionals serving in the full spectrum of healthcare disciplines in the different US federal agencies such as the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, National Guard and Reserve Components. The theme for the 114th AMSUS Annual Meeting in 2008 will be "Building the Next Generation: Collaborative Partnerships For The Future".
Pan-American Congress of Military Medicine (PACMM) -The Pan-American Committee on Military Medicine is an organization, geographically related with the Americas, born as a Working Group of the International Committee of Military Medicine. The International Committee on Military Medicine is an international and intergovernmental organization bringing together today more than 100 Member States. The theme chosen for the Congress is "Partnering to Meet the Health Challenges of the Americas". The main topics include Infectious Disease, Epidemiological Surveillance, and Military Medical Support to Civil Authorities. The PACMM will be held in San Antonio at the same time.
