Member Types

Active Member

Annual membership entitles you to all member benefits. Those that choose to commit to 2 or 3 years at a time pay reduced membership dues.

Life Member

Active members who have paid dues continuously for 30 years.

Pro-rated Life plan is another way for members to reach this prestigious status. By paying the Life Member dues in full or in pro-rated increments for 5 consecutive years, Life Member status is reached upon complete/final payment. A break in payments may result in an increase of your payment amount to match the current PL dues schedule.

Student Member

Available to students enrolled in the HPSP (Health Professional Scholarship Program), MODV (Medical, Optometry, Dental, Veterinary-Army) or USUHS Program (Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences), ROTC, or other federally funded students in medical, nursing, dental, etc. school may apply for student membership and take advantage of all the benefits of active membership. Graduate, post-graduate, doctoral, etc. pursuits are NOT eligible for student membership.

Some students may be eligible for a 1 year free student membership.

Sustaining Member

Made up of some of America’s finest companies that provide medical and scientific products and services to federal healthcare agencies. The only permanent organization to provide an ongoing forum for federal healthcare industries and agencies and is the company’s link to the broad and often fragmented federal marketplace.

The AMSUS-SM section is guided by a strong code of ethics and members enjoy a unique, collegial environment in which they discuss the current issues and business practices of the federal healthcare customers.
