AMSUS Volunteer Mentors

As a service to our student members, AMSUS members volunteer their time and expertise to serve as mentors. These volunteers are willing to meet or correspond with students who are pursuing a health professional discipline and plan to serve in the military to relay military medical experiences, career planning advice, and to answer questions. AMSUS student members seeking information on career potential, what it's like serving as a physician in the military, overseas assignments or similar questions are encouraged to contact the individuals listed on the right.

Become a Volunteer Mentor

AMSUS members wishing to get involved and become a volunteer mentor should email AMSUS Membership and provide: name, service, specialty; contact information; a brief bio (1-2 sentences); and your member number if available.
