AMSUS is reaching out to federal health professions students in the spirit of building the next generation. AMSUS is now offering medical students at the Uniformed Services University (USU), and those sponsored in civilian medical schools under the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) or the National Health Service Corps scholarship program (NHSC) one free year of membership for those students who are not current AMSUS members. Graduate, post-graduate, doctoral etc pursuits that are not part of a federal program do not entitle one to this free student membership program. Students electing to accept this free year of membership should complete the form below to activate their free membership. Once enrolled, student members will begin receiving the monthly journal, Military Medicine,and will have access to all member benefits for one year from the date of application. At the end of the free membership period, these students will be billed at the Student Membership rate-- currently only $22. Please extend this offer to any eligible students that you know.
