Continuing Education Information
This continuing education activity is provided through a collaboration between AMSUS and AffinityCE. This activity provides continuing education credit for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, as well as providing a statement of participation for other attendees.
1. Describe the success rate of current interventions on tension physiology.
2. Identify the correct locations on the body in which to place needle thoracostomy, tube thoracostomy, and reactor thoracostomy when indicated for tension physiology.
3. Discuss the need for alternate interventions to treat tension pneumothorax in a forward setting.
