Continuing Education Information
This continuing education activity is provided through a collaboration between AMSUS and AffinityCE. This activity provides continuing education credit for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, healthcare executives as well as providing a statement of participation for other attendees.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand how the United States Forces Korea (USFK) effectively responded to a novel virus using the 8 principles of Operation Kill the Virus, which can be applied to future outbreaks.
- Analyze the background, scope, and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on military units using USFK’s response in South Korea as an example.
- Recognize the importance of joint collaboration and local/global community engagement in executing an effective emergency health response.
