Learning Outcomes
Upon reading this manuscript, the participant will be able to:
• Describe bibliometric literature review technique that enables a researcher to grasp state of
knowledge within a field.
• Demonstrate application of bibliometric literature review to the field of Military Medical Ethics
(MME).
• Identify most prominent themes in the field of MME and map the prevalence of publications in
these themes over the years and describe utility of theme construction to the development of an
MME curriculum.
