AMSUS' Board of Directors  is responsible for the overall management and operation of AMSUS. It approves the annual budget and annual audit, monitors and approves the AMSUS investment program, appoints and supervises the Executive Director, and delegates authority as appropriate to the Executive Director.

Major General Rich Stone retired from the United State Army after a stellar career in various Reserve and Active Duty assignments, culminating as the Army Deputy Surgeon General. Dr. Stone’s most recent position was that of the Acting Under Secretary for Health of the Veterans Health Administration. He led the Nation’s largest health care system through the recent pandemic. He currently is a Specialist Executive with Deloitte.
