Wenstrup to Share with Federal Health Professionals How Federal Agencies Can Be Health Care Leaders
AMSUS, The Society of Federal Health Professionals is pleased to announce Congressman Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, will keynote the AMSUS Annual Meeting on Dec. 3, 2019, at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. As a podiatric physician and a decorated U.S. Army Reserve veteran who served a tour in Iraq as a combat surgeon, federal health is a priority issue for the congressman. Wenstrup continues his Reserve duties, while serving in Congress, as the Medical Policy Advisor for the Chief of the Army Reserve, as well as seeing patients at Walter Reed National Military Center in Bethesda.
“We are honored to have Congressman Brad Wenstrup as our Annual Meeting Keynote Speaker,” AMSUS Executive Director Dr. John Cho said. “As a former member of the House Armed Services Committee, a current member of the Ways and Means Committee, and a health professional both privately and in the military, Congressman Wenstrup is well-positioned to share unique insights that may contribute to federal health professionals’ success.”
