Continuing Education Information
This continuing education activity is provided through collaboration between AMSUS and AffinityCE. Needs Assessment:
Literature suggests that medical professionals are known to neglect self-care and self-assessments of stress, putting them at risk for deteriorations in psychological health that can lead to poor medical judgment. Buddy care was a strategy that was developed to prevent, monitor, and better manage occupational stress that are vital to improve the health care providers’ abilities to cope with day-to-day stressors which are crucial to maintaining mission readiness.

- Define the similarities and differences between Buddy Care and Unit Assessment
- Identify areas of utilization of Buddy Care and Unit Assessments as a leadership tool
