Mike Mittelman is a retired Navy Rear-Admiral (Upper Half). His final assignment in his 33-year military career was as the Deputy Surgeon General of the Navy and Deputy Chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Mike is
a Diplomat of the American Academy of Optometry and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is currently the President of Salus University where he has served since 2013.
Lt Gen Mark Ediger, MC, 22nd Surgeon General, USAF (Ret)
Mark Ediger is a retired Air Force Lieutenant General with a 32-year military career, retiring in 2018 as the 22nd Surgeon General of the Air Force. He is a dual board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Aerospace
Medicine. Dr. Ediger joined Deloitte in November 2018 as a Specialist Executive and is a certified Deloitte speaker on the Future of Health.

Raquel Cruz Bono is a retired Navy Vice Admiral with a nearly 30-year career and the distinction of being the first woman surgeon in the military to hold the rank of Vice Admiral. She retired in 2019 after holding the
position of Director, Defense Health Agency from 2015 to 2019. After retiring, she was a gubernatorial appointee as the Director of Washington State COVID-19 Health System Response Management. Most recently, Dr.
Bono was named the Chief Health Officer for Viking Cruises.
Sylvia Trent-Adams is a retired Rear Admiral Upper Half of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, with a 28-year career in public health, retiring in 2020. From 2015 to 2018, she was the Deputy Surgeon
General of the United States. Dr. Trent-Adams is the President of the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.
Roosevelt Allen is a retired Air Force Major General with a 30+ year career, retiring in 2018 as the medical operations director and Chief of the Dental Corps, Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. He holds
a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) and holds fellowships in the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD) and the American College of Dentistry (ACD). In 2018, Dr. Allen joined United Concordia
Dental as its dental director of Government Business and was later named its Chief Dental Officer.

Lt Gen (ret) Dorothy Hogg is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a 37-year military Veteran. As the 23rd Surgeon General of the United States Air Force, Lt Gen (ret) Hogg served as advisor
to the Secretary of the Air Force, the Air Force Chief of Staff and the Chief of Space Operations, as well as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs on strategic systems-level matters pertaining
to medical aspects of the air expeditionary force and the health of Airmen and Guardians.Dorothy Hogg earned her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Southern Maine, a Masters of Nursing from
Medical University of South Carolina and a Masters in Public Administration from Troy State University. She completed specialty training as a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the military
and later received her board certification in the same field.

Dr. Thomas retired as a Major General from the United States Army with over 26 years of service. During his career, he commanded at multiple levels and served in numerous key staff positions; culminating as
the Director of Healthcare Operations and the Chief Medical Officer for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Dr. Thomas earned an undergraduate degree in biological science from West Virginia University (WVU),
a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the WVU School of Dentistry and a Medical Degree from the WVU School of Medicine. Dr. Thomas is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and is a fellow
of the American College of Surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Dentists.

MG Volpe retired from the United States Army after 30 years of service. His final duty assignment was as the Commanding General at the Army Medical Department Center and School in San Antonio, Texas, where he
led and managed education, training, and doctrine development for all of Army Medicine. He now teaches at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and is a healthcare and leadership consultant,
team builder, and motivational speaker.

Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs), where he was responsible for managing the Department of Defense’s managed healthcare program. Dr. Granger's impactful career reflects a deep
commitment to improving healthcare delivery for service members, their families, and veterans. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in advancing healthcare quality and efficiency across the federal

AMSUS Board Member, Term Expiring 2028 Colonel George Jones retired from the United States Air Force where he served in various assignments as a Pharmacist and in command positions. He was a senior program and
policy leader guiding the ~$49 Billion contract to support DoD purchased care pharmacy services at the TRICARE Management Activity and at the Defense Health Agency. He currently is a Senior National Account
Manager with Genentech.

John M. Cho, MD is a retired US Army Brigadier General, currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of AMSUS, The Society of Federal Health Professionals, since January 2018. He has
over 20 years of senior executive experience in healthcare operations, management, and administration and in leading the planning and direction of six Army health management organizations — from clinics
to large healthcare systems— as Commander (CEO). Dr. Cho has a proven record of leading change, achieving value for large organizations through creative, strategic problem-solving, and effective coaching
and mentoring leading to former subordinates serving as the CEO of medical centers and hospitals. Dr. Cho is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) of the American Association for Physician Leadership since
2011, Board Certified in Cardiothoracic and General Surgery, American Board of Surgery, in 1998 and 1995 respectively, a Fellow American College of Surgeons (FACS) since 2000, and Fellow, American Association
for Physician Leadership (FAAPL) since 2020. BG (Retired) Cho’s military awards include the Army Distinguished Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Legion of Merit with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Bronze Star Medal,
Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (BS), the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences
(MD), and the United States Army War College (MS).

product development, and bridging policy/legislative strategies. He is a board member of Achilles International, Executive Sponsor for the Cigna SALUTE Employee Resource Group (ERG) that supports Veterans
and their families, Vice-Chair for the AMSUS Executive Advisory Board (EAB), and a retired Medical Service Corps officer following 21 years of service in the U.S. Navy.

As the National Federal Business Director for WSI PBG, Markus is responsible
for fostering relationships with existing WSI PBG client companies and establishing new partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical supply and diagnostics industries desiring to increase their business within the Veterans Health Administration, Military Health System and Public Health (Indian Health Services / Federal Bureau of Prisons) markets. He brings 30 years of strategic leadership and vast expertise within the Federal healthcare system to ensure that WSI PBG continues to set the standard as the premiere Federal Government Promotion Partner within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries and better serving the needs of our Federal beneficiaries.
Markus most recently served as Chief of the Department of Defense’s Global
Pharmacy Operations program. This $9.7 billion dollar world-wide pharmacy
program consists of 773 military pharmacies, a network of 56,142 retail
pharmacies, and a $4.8 billion dollar mail order and pharmacy benefits
management contract, delivering almost 120 million scripts to 9.6 million
beneficiaries annually. Under his leadership, the Pharmacy Operations
Directorate contained programmatic growth at a $9.7 billion annual spend for
past four years through innovative cost mitigation strategies achieving $2.4
billion in cost avoidance while other national health systems experienced
double digit percentage cost growth. He is an expert communicator who
routinely engaged the Senate and House Armed Services Committees,
hundreds of Military and Veterans Service Organizations, multiple industry
forums, and extensively briefed senior DoD and Federal Agency executives,
which created the highest level of engagement and collaboration in almost a
decade.
Additionally, Markus has spent more than 10 years as a Commander at multiple organizational levels and pinnacle leadership positions. He earned his
Pharmacy degree from Drake University, a Master’s degree in Organizational
Management from The George Washington University, a Master’s degree in
Military history from Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Air Force’s Air War College.
